Yes, I restarted my laptop but the audio files are still not making any sound.

Hi everyone! I currently have an issue where none of my audio files are making any sound, however, the levels are still showing as if it is making sound. My input is the Macbook microphone and the output is the Macbook speaker. I can hear and manipulate midi perfectly fine. I've already tried disabling and enabling core audio and closing and reopening Logic. I just don't know what the issue is. Should I try uninstalling and reinstalling Logic? Will I lose my projects, settings, or plugins if I uninstall and reinstall? Thank you
