  1. No, ti's working as expected here. Do you have a backup of 10.6.1 to compare against? Otherwise it could be a global mouse setting in your System Preferences? A restart reversed it back! My goodness!
  2. Is the scroll direction reversed in this version for you? Like when you wanna change pan with the mouse scroll wheel? It is for me....
  3. The Borg co-opt the technology and knowledge of other alien species to the Collective through the process of "assimilation": forcibly transforming individual beings into "drones" by injecting nanoprobes into their bodies and surgically augmenting them with cybernetic components. ...
  4. Draw a midi region as long as you need, and bounce that. That works.
  5. I have a feeling I have a little less cpu headroom in Logic in Big Sur. Like single core performance has taken a bit of a hit?
  6. Does it crash with no plugins on the master bus? My Logic crashes at quit with some plugs on stereo out...
  7. Yeah that would explain why the blasts went away when I gave up on RME??
  8. Well my retina started making it’s way down the bowels but somehow got stuck near the appendix and never made its way out the rectum. But my noise blasts only happened with RME Babyface over usb. I have had all types of interfaces since then without blasts. For me it seems some interfaces are ”safe”. Rme said it was the OS and coreaudio but I don’t buy that at all.
  9. I have not had this problem at all using Audient interfaces or Motu interfaces. With RME? Yes. Almost blast my retina out my ass.
  10. Oh, and IF you are using Audiogridder, that will trigger core file data when Logic crashes for whatever reason even if logging is OFF in Audiogridder, there are probably other plugins that do this though....so Logic will appear to hang because the computer is super busy dumping memory data for diagnostic reasons. You can trash core files, they are for programmers.
  11. I bet it’s the OS that is writing core files. You are describing the exact same problem I had. Check the core folder, it’s invisible and at root level of your boot drive. I bet you have LARGE core files there, which is os memory dumps. Have you been using Audio Gridder? If logging and tracing is on there and Logic crashes for some reason , this will happen. Other apps can also trigger this ”feature”. Google disable core files and you can block this from happening. I bet loads of Logic users have there ssds filling up with core crap. The easiest way to show invisible files on mac is just holding command shift period (I think that’s correct) Just googled how to show invisibles: Open Macintosh HD or the folder where you want to display the hidden files in the Finder. Hold down the Command, Shift and Period keys: cmd + shift + [.] The hidden files and folders on your Mac will then appear partially transparent. You can hide the files again using the same keyboard shortcut.
