  1. Just bought a IIYAMA 2560x1440 monitor, works great and not to expensive! http://www.amazon.co.uk/XB2776QS-B1-ProLite-XB2776QS-Backlit-Monitor/dp/B00BPHIJFA
  2. In PT (at least in PT10) you can set a track to be sample or tick (bar/beat) based. It need to be tick based to use Beat Detective or quantize to grooves...
  3. Yes, also like the synth. And for the time it's $99, so that's a steal (bought it)....
  4. The chances are pretty high there will still be PT in a few years, with Logic I feel this is much less sure (look what happened to FCP...)
  5. A populair combination is to do the 'creative' part in Live and then bounce to Logic for the mixing and arange finishing...
  6. Very cool combination... And finaly there is 'automation recording to clip'. https://www.ableton.com/en/
  7. And after that they discontinued Final Cut Studio....
  8. Imho Bitwig is just a 'Live remake' with extra features ('Live 9', wouldn't suprise me if Bitwig actually is Ableton) I'm more impressed with Studio One, with the very cool Melodyne integration (just drag an audio event to a instrument track to extract the pitch in MIDI)
  9. Might help when you post the crash log here....
  10. Doesn't work for me, my workaround so far is to select the mixer window screenset when playing instead of keeping arange screenset.
  11. The problem disappared from the session I was seeing it on it's own (at least for now)....
  12. What shocked (almost) everybody and caused the general loss of trust is not that a potentially very great new concept is being developed (agree FCPX indeed is great forward thinking), but that without any warning the existing tools where companies invested in and depend on and where people pay there families from are simply discontinued. Same can happen to the MacPro, and can happen to Logic as well... But lets enjoy Logic and make great music with it as long as it's there!
  13. imho you should never sit on a single horse, and one of your 'horses' should be industrie standard... There are quite a few people using FCP finding it out the hard way
  14. I see it while Arange is fully zoomed out, so no scrolling is taking place...
