  1. Here are the extra attachments on my topic on (System overload window pops up in playback, and thinking of running this project into another different external hard drive.)
  2. I have 2 questions. 1) System overload window pops up in playback, 2)and thinking of running this project into another different external hard drive. for 1) System overload window pops up in playback, I had this happen about a month ago, and got help from Nahmani and other helpful people. I even tried to increase buffer size & turn of thread etc. But, each time I do that , it buffers too long and crashes. I check the preferences and it does not change to the increase I/o offer size from 512 to 1024. When I press autosaved 1024, it always defaults back to 512. So, I don't understand why it won't increase to 1024. (See Attachments). It keeps crashing at times. I am running this project from my external SSD Glyph 2TB Black drive. Should I duplicate this project and drag it to my 3rd external SSD 2TB Glyph drive with extra space available as shown in the attachment below? I know that I am running dangerously low in space on both my internal Mac mini 1 Tb & Black external drive. I am assuming that could be part of the reason why that system overload drive pops up. I also notice that it pops up after the 2nd chorus of song and goes into the middle bridge section of a number of Midi Keyboard instruments from Logic & Kontakt. I would not want to disengage any of those since it is part of my song that I really need to sound good. Can someone give best advice to stop that system overload from popping up? I still have a intro that I have to mix for this song> Do I have to delete more tracks?I do have extra I can delete. Maybe that will help. Your help ASAP is greatly appreciated Thank you ! 🙂 I
  3. Thank you very much those advices, I will put them to practice Good luck to you all! 🙂
  4. Thanks again guys for the help and heads up. I have an extra 2 TB SSD glyph drive, and I may also free up some space. I got one question though, I do have Time capsule on. Should disable that? I think that could also be taking up space on both my Mac mini 1 TB and external Glyph 2 TB drives? What is your advice on this? let ne know Thanks! 🙂
  5. Hello David Nahmani and Triplets, Thank you for your quick reply and help. Yes David I went ahead and change the Multithreading to Playback instead of Playback live and I noticed that the CPU threads went down except for one or two lanes, but it stop freezing as you can see in my attachments. Secondly, I did save this in my external Solid state 2 tb Glyph drive and you can see the remaining space left in my External Glyph drive. And yes Triplets you do have a valid point because I do have Safari browser on instead of Chrome at times. I will close them when I don't need o use it as tutorials. Thirdly, I do have some of these plug ins pictures not closed since I should close them immediately after tweaking the setting parameters because it does take up CPU power. I have looped that bridge section where it tends to freeze and it does not freeze anymore . Problem solved! Now I can continue to mix and maybe track in a few more Midi String ensemble from the already used tracks so I can save CPU? Appreciate it!!! Thank you very much again for your help David Nahmani and Triplets have a great day!! 🙂
  6. I went ahead and deleted a number of tracks and disengaged all Input monitoring buttons and a number of plug-ins. I opened up the CPU reading and it seems to stay low but on certain sections like the Bridge and middle of song, the CPU goes all up. Then it goes down to towrads the end of this 10 minute Progressive rock song. I went and increased the I/O buffering from 512 up to 1024 turned rewire Behavior to Off, Process buffer range from medium to Large, but the buffering spinning ball keeps spinning and then Logic Pro X just shuts off or always crashes at thats point. I am really frustrated because I am at the tail end of almost finishing the mix of this song. I really worked hard in mixing with these plug ins and It would really take away the creativity signature sound that I envision in this last mixing stage. What is your best advice to stop this System Overload from showing up? Your help ids greatly appreciated
  7. Hello Fuzz filth and Ciningbao, I finally solved my lead vocal clip out of sync issues. All my vocals that rendered from Melodyne into Logic x a month ago. I just went ahead to my main lead vocals track and turned on (Flex Mode (Monophonic) and my lead vocals went back in time. (Whew) I don't how that got disengaged, so I now labeled that note on my main lead vocal clip in red to make sure that it stays that way. Although I did notice that some of my back up vocals just went a hair behind a little bit. So I also turned on Flex mode monophoni on those Back up vocal tracks. Although, I still hear a bit lag on those back up vocals. Question Logic X experts, should I leave flex mode monophonic on to those back up vocals? Secondly, I am planning to record a midi keyboard in this same project by slowing down that keyboard part, since I can't play keyboards fast. Should I turn on Flex mode monophonic for that ? I am just afraid that by doing this it might offset some other random tracks to go out of sync. Cant you guys please give me advice before I proceed? your help is greatly appreciated, Thank you!
  8. Hello Fuzz filth, Thanks for your suggestions. This happen to me the 2nd time, so I went ahead and rendered all my Melodyne retuned again vocal files BEFORE I went ahead to record my midi instruments. I rendered them into Logic first and hid the tracks because I knew that if I wanted to do additional flex time recording with my other instruments, this would not off set timing on those rendered Melodyne vocal tracks. As I mentioned, after correcting this process 2nd time, my lead vocal rendered files were in perfect time for weeks until yesterday. So, it shocks me to suddenly hear that these rendered vocal files are not in sync. Temporarily, I did nudge my main lead vocals at the last prechorus, chorus of my song, and it seems to work after a a number of nudges. It's only the that last section rendered vocal clips went out of sync. Let me get back into my project and double check all my vocal routings because I think certain vocal tracks that were out of time 1st before may have been unmuted. I'll get back to you Fuzzfilth thanks!
  9. Hello cinningbao, thank you for your response suggestions appreciate it. They're quite high range singing and is taxing on my singing. so I don't think I can rerecord them again. This is the second time I did this. Apologize, I think what I meant on flex time was that, I did not change any of the tempo in all my vocals at all, it was the midi keys afterwards. After I recorded the vocals in perfect time, I meant that the other instruments such as midi keyboard solos (Not the vocals) were slowed down tempo 40 bpm when I recorded complex runs, then I brought it back up to speed to original tempo 141 bpm which might have affected try lead vocals clip to go out of sync? I don't think I don't have any tempo automation in global tracks because my whole song is in 141 bpm. It has some odd time signatures in the middle of the song where all keyboard and guitar solos are in. What I did was it really is the my lead vocals thats out of sync from th whole band. . I did experimented by nudging my lead vocal clips at the end by either 10 ticks etc until it got finally in sync w with the whole band. Should this be the best solution is to nudge these out of sync vocal regions to be in time? please let me know before I proceed. Looking forward to hearing from you thanks!
  10. I recorded all my instruments and vocals correctly in time with click track metronome for months. It sounded perfectly in time with the metronome in Logic X for a month, but today, last section of my vocals are not in sync. I have recorded all my instruments, guitars all rhythm, lead, Superior drummer, bass guitars, keyboards, and all lead vocals and back up vocals. They are all in time with the metronome in Logic x, but not today.. I listened to it over 20 times on playback overdubbing extra instruments like midi keys, and slowed them down since I can't play keys fast. Then I sped it back to its normal 141 tempo. All my recorded instruments played in time with Logic Pro X metronome. Even all the vocals, since Ive listened to it about 20 times for this past one month. All in time with the Metronome, until today. I know for a fact that I did not move any of all my instrument clips to be out of time. Then just today , I played my song as it went towards the end, the last sections of my vocals went out of sync either too behind or ahead. I had to painstakingly redo Melodyne again. Then I rendered the Melodyne vocal files to prevent this. I hid the Melodyne tracks. It was all in time but, today, the lead vocals that I rendered sounded behind out of time. What is wrong? Is it flex time doing this? I don't know. I am really frustrated, I know I recorded slowed down arpeggiated midi piano at slow speed then sped it up back to its correct tempo at 141 with all instruments. Whats causing this ? I did experiment by nudging the vocal clips back in time today, but before I proceed on to save this, I did not save it yet. I figure I need to get help from Logic Pro X expert before I do this. Is there anything I need to Nudge fix, before I do this ? This is the second time it’s done this. I want to release my E.P by next month, but theses technical issues are delaying all this. I am fatigue to keep having this happen to me, it’s a long tedious process. I have wanting to finish the editing stages of this 2nd song, and its been 5 months because of this. Does Logic Pro x 10.4 have this bug that clips go out of sync time after a while? Can someone please help me solve these timing issues? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you, (((PLEASE HELP ME !!!) )))THANK YOU!!!))
  11. Hello David, Thanks for the help, let me go ahead and do that musical typing thing. Secondly, I'll go ahead and plug in my actual MIDI keyboard . I'll get to it. Thanks!!
  12. I press record to record a MIDI track from Kontakt Cerebus software or any other 3rd party software, but it's does not show recording region. I have attached file (look at Inst 60) some how not even a redbone clip (region) recording is shown. What is happening? Can some one please help me? Thank you your help is greatly appreciated.
