Hello I was working in Logic and I dragged an mp3 into the project and everytime I edit the mp3 a new .aif file appears on my desktop. Every single edit. Please help because it is cluttering. Usually in the past when this occurred I would have to uninstall Logic and reinstall it just to get it to work again but I now have work in Logic and can't risk losing my 3rd party plugins and whatnot. Please help me because I don't want to have to stop making music just because of clutter.

I asked someone on reddit and they said to unplug and run first aid on the disc utility and then plug it back in and that worked perfectly

Hello, I have a job as a sound editor, and that involves using sfx and roomtones from a library of thousands of files. My typical method of using these files was by accessing them through the "All Files" browser, and just searching them. This worked fine until today for some reason. Now when I search "wind" for instance, absolutely nothing will come up, when last time hundreds of things would come up. They are still there, but won't show up. I have 3 days to do this job and my finder isn't performing search functions either so I don't know what to do.
