Is it possible to hide rests in some measures and have them appear in others. I'm doing charts for live players and I'd like to mix and match a bit, so I don't need to fill up all of the blank measures with rests, just a completely empty measure. Any ideas???

Can someone point me in a direction re: track grouping. Isn't there a way to have many tracks grouped together (e.g. all string tracks or perc tracks), and then put them in a master folder/track so that they don't all appear all of the time on the arrange page. I'm trying to shorten how I look at the track list in the arrange window so it's not always a mile long. Any ideas?

No. It's also set to only one specific port and still my Unitor's light up on all channels. It's a mystery.

I'm trying to use the Transmit Midi Clock function in the syncronization window and even though I'm sending out midi clock on Port 7 (Unitor) only, all 3 of my Unitor 8's light up like a Christmas tree. Is there something else that needs to be set in Logic so that this function works properly??? I just want to send midi clock out one port.

When you export track as audio file, is Logic able to hold on to panning and/or mix info? I can't seem to get that to happen.

If I upgrade to 7.2, are there any compatibility issues if I still want to keep working on OSX version 10.3.9? I want to do Logic 7.2 and OSX 10.3.9.

I've received lots of info and advice regarding the allocation of RAM. But I still can't seem to get to the bottom of it all. I have 5GB of RAM in my dual 2.0 and I don't think I've ever been able to access even half of that. Does anyone know the bottom line on all of that? I'm still working in 10.3.9 w/Logic 7.1, and with all the RAM intensive plugs and virtuals I'd love to tap into as much RAM as possible.

I have a recurring problem w/Logic 7 even after the latest update,7.1.1. Often when I double click on an audio file/loop/any audio data, all I get is a blank white page with no way to edit it. If I click then close the blank window over and over, many times, eventually I am given the audio window with the chance to edit. This seems like some sort of a bug. Any ideas???

I've recently seen the AMT-4 boxes available for $29 and was wondering if anyone knows if they are fully compatible with the Unitor 8 and AMT-8 boxes which I already own. If so, are there limitations when adding on an AMT-4 box. I only need a few extra midi ports and this seemed like a viable solution if it works right.
