  1. It started moving around more as soon as I changed the loop size by hand:
  2. It behaves the same way without it Also LFO´s don´t work on the loop settings before I move the Loop beginning knob. It seems to have something to do with the inversion of it but I dont really get why it does that
  3. Hey everyone, If I map the Loop position in the Sampler to a midi control, or automate it with an LFO in the mod matrix, it only moves a tiny bit (see the wiggle of the yellow borders in the video) I couldn´t find the reason for that yet. I also tried stacking multiple mappings (e.g. 4 columns of Lfo1 / Loop position / 100% ) but it did not increase the effect. What im eventually trying to do is have very small loops and move them around through the sample. Thanks Video:
  4. Hey everyone, I´m running into the following problem: Since I mapped the loop length and ending to midi faders, everytime I select a different one and come back to the sampler track, or play the arrangement, the loop does not play. However, when I tweak the fader the loop gets activated. I think it gets more clear in the video It seems to have something to do with the inversion, since it does not occur when I change it off. Is it supposed to behave like that? Can I change that behaviour? I´ve looked if my automation somehow resets it, but couldn´t find the reason that is causing this.
  5. Hey Folks, I was wondering if it´s possible to extend the parameter width in the sampler mod matrix. For example the LFO frequency range maxes out at 200% (see screenshot), but I would like it to max out at e.g. 1000%; is there a way to do it? I´m asking because when researching more specific questions about logic on google, most of the time my results are very generic such as "Everything You Need To Know About Logic's Sampler"; so in case anyone has a suggestion on how to research more specific questions like that, I´d be glad to know.
  6. Hey Atlas, thanks for the reply. I just tried Parameter-mapping the loop end in the smart control section (never used it, seems very useful, thanks for that) but it doesn´t recognize it, just as it didn´t recognize it in the basic Midi learn assignment fuction.
  7. Hey everyone, I want to play around with the starting point and loop end of samples in the Logic sampler. I´d like to assign a Midi controller to do that, but so far I have not been successfull. I feel like I´m lacking some fundamental knowledge here, but my question is: how can I assign e.g. a midi fader to what is labelled in the mod matrix as "Ctrl #2, Ctrl#3..." (see screenshot)? Thanks in advance!
  8. Hey People, I'm trying to fit an Instrumental version of a Track to one that has vocals in order to phase invert one of the tracks, ultimately getting the "acapella" version of it. This requires a lot of precision, at the moment more than I can achieve having zoomed in 100%. Unfortunately the Tracks dont have identical starting points, so I have to shift one of them by hand to perfectly fit the waveforms. Any method suggested? Thanks a lot. Cheers
  9. Hey peeps, anyone out there that has found a good replacement for the akaizer plugin (http://the-akaizer-project.blogspot.com)? it doesn't run on os 10.5. Or someone knows a way to get it running again? thanks in advance
  10. thanks!! also: music tech help guy must be some kind of saint here
  11. Hey people, I was wondering if it´s possible to create Midi sequences with Logic and send them to a synth. I have a Arturia Keystep a Behringer Model D and an Audio Interface (Zoom h6). Couldn´t figure out how to do it yet.
  12. Hey guys, I´m trying to chop up the good old amen break, doing so as follows: After I´ve loaded the break into Logic, I adjust the project tempo using the region length and locators (globally). Then I chop up the thing. (I´ve tried various ways, doing it manually and cutting it symmetrically-quantized) Then I load it into a sampler (creating zones from regions, instrument: samler, one-shot off.) Basically I do everything this tutorial tells me: But unlike in the video, you can clearly hear the cuts in my version: (I uploaded the unedited sample against the version thats running through the sampler)How does this come about? What´s the fix? I´m kinda helpless. Hoping for an answer, thx in advance
