  1. Plugins load fine in Native. I should of been more descriptive, but when i switch from my Audient to the built in output for example mid session, the plugins load into this state. After a couple minutes they all "activate" and are restored. A behavior i have never seen before. This never happened with my intel machines. Also the sessions are really slow to load when using the interface. Full fresh install, only thing that was migrated was my user settings / information. Plugins were all installed manually. I have done some research and this seems to be a known issue.. Just found this 20 page post regarding the same issue over here. https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/audio-stutters-with-usb-dacs-on-macbook-m1-pro.42001/
  2. No hub, the Audient is going directly into the Mac. I have a Nektar Lx25 midi controller. Plugins are mostly from Izotope, Toneboosters, Kilohearts and Softube. A couple others sprinkled in, but they are all said to be silicon supported.
  3. Just picked up a new M1 Mac Studio Max and am having problems with it in Logic. Playback often gets really glitchy / stuttery and the cores max out on the CPU meter when this happens. This is not just on big sessions but smaller ones too. The same sessions on my 2018 Mac Mini played back with no issues. Things i have found that seem to fix the problem: Loading Logic with Rosetta and or using the built-in-output of the Mac. All the plugins im using are Apple Silicon supported. I have noticed when this happens a bunch of the plugin inserts stay blue, but the writing greys out in them (making them non responsive). This bums me out as i was excited to make the step up to M series chips. Im wondering if this is a USB C thing with the interface. If any one has any info into this it would be greatly appreciated. I can provide videos showing whats happening if needed. Specs Mac M1 Studio Max 32gb Logic 10.8.1 Ventura 13.6.4 (latest) Audient id14 MK1
  4. Trackspacer is a zero latency plugin, so this wouldn't be effected by the Logic delay comp bug. Try doing the same frequency ducking with Soothe 2 for example. You will really notice it going out of sync then.
  5. Got it and thanks for the reply. Unfortunately adding 10+ copies of the same player device would be a pain, especially when tweaking. I was hoping to see if there was a way to add it to "one" track to control the entire kit (similar to how i do when using a Reason drum sequencer / sampler).
  6. I noticed the usual midi fx drop down isn't an option when using Drum Machine Designer. I was hoping to use Reason's player devices with it and was wondering if there is a way to get this to work (beat map in particular). I noticed you can add it to each individual piece but not the kit as a whole. Any info is appreciated here.
  7. I found the problem and its a bit embarrassing. I had inserted a midi FX on the open hat track, not for use, but to quickly authorize something i had just purchased. Fluid Pitch. It still let the audio pass but prevented the Exclusive Group from being recognized. I forgot to take it off for some reason. I apologize for the bone headed move and post lol. David, i give you credit however as i was cleaning up the session to post it up for you when i stumbled across the problem 🙂
  8. Any help here would be appreciated. I had the closed hat choking the open hat last night and it was working as intended. Woke up today and its no longer working and the open hat is ringing out. Nothing changed and the same exclusive group is still assigned to both. If anyone has any suggestions on what to look for that would be really appreciated.
  9. If you are not set on just Logic plugins, Kilohearts Snap Heap with its stereo snap-in is a great (and even better) replacement for Panman. I even called the preset i made in Snap Heap "PanMan" 🙂
  10. Good to know about the bug being fixed, too bad it requires and OS update. Thanks though. Sometimes when i start playback during a section that has automation, then start playback at a different part of the song that no longer has automation, it gets stuck in the previous state.
  11. Curious if others have experienced this, when you start play back at a point that has immediate automation, it doesn't calculate and playback the automation correctly. Other times it gets stuck in an automation state despite the automation no longer being drawn in. This happens when i start playback at a point that has automation drawn as an on / off as you see in the video. Any helps is appreciated Im on Mac Catalina, Logic 10.6.3 https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MIn_KfvsfohjhHZ1gqp-Fq7G9tyI1DVX/view?usp=share_link
  12. Thanks for the tip, i ended up finding the culprit. It was DS tantra that i was automating the mix on the 2 bus. Weird thing is its worked fine for the last few weeks while working on this track. Bypassing it and reenabling fixed the problem, and now its fine again. Out of curiosity, do you know if you can you spread the core usage out in Logic? As in utilize more than one core?
  13. This has happened to me a few times now as i get into mix. Everything is going fine, then randomly when i open the session im stuck with this. You can hear after i stop playback it just keeps playing for a bit. Ive tried restarting, disconnecting my Audient ID14, using the built in audio and bypassing plugins. Any help here would be really appreciated. Im stuck in a position not being able to access my song. 2018 Mac Mini on Catalina (the latest). 3.2ghz 6 core with 32gb of ram. Buffer is 1024. Session is at 44.1 24 bit Video: Logic Glitchy Stutter
  14. I just wanted to see if i was doing anything wrong, but you are correct, quickly deleting the random settings is easy enough.
  15. Looking for some help here. I have been using import session data for as long as i can remember in Pro Tools, and am just starting to use it in Logic. However, when I do it, i occasionally get random values such as markers and tempo changes. I made sure not to have it checked in the import settings but it still does some wonky stuff. Any info is appreciated here. You can see in the first pic im just importing the guitar tracks from a previous session (and drums which you cant see in the picture). In the second picture everything comes in normally but i get random markers that don't even fully match what is in the session im importing from. And i get random tempo changes / points. Every time i do it, the random tempo changes and points are different as well. All i want is the tracks, audio and plugins.
