  1. Hello guys! Hope you're doing well. Can someone explain me what exactly "Smooth Cycle Algorithm" (general preference -> cycle) does? In which cases do I need to try it? Thanks in advance!
  2. Hello guys! I am a big fan of Mick Gordon's music and game series DOOM. In this video I gonna try to re-create something similar to DOOM synth bass in Logic Pro X new sampler using only one sample from the awesome library Evolution: Devastator. The riff is based on the song "The Only Thing They Fear Is You». What do you think about this method? Tell me your opinion in the comments! 3. haha thank you so much! You explained it very well!
  4. Hmm... yes, you're right. It should have been exactly as you said. The funny thing is my current project has a few plugins and fabfilter limiter on master channel. When I put 1024 samples I saw 50 ms latency in settings and it's really noticeable when I was playing. Then I turned on LLM (by the way, none of my plugins are disabled) and it felt like exactly the same 50 ms (give or take)... hehe. With buffer size 32-64-128 I didn't notice that behaviour. I didn't change anything - sample rate and so on. P.S. this question is for only "academic purpose", I am just curious why this happened.
  5. Hello! I've just tried what I said before. Somehow I/O buffer size affects behavior of Low Latency Mode. For example, when I put 128 samples and turned on LLM (limit 5 ms) - everything was ok. But! When I put 1024 samples then LLM (limit 5 ms) didn't work as it should be. Why did it happen? Maybe I too overthink about it... hehe Thanks in advance!
  6. Hello again! Sorry to disturb you again... I have a question about "low latency mode" Does it matter what amount of buffer size should be when I turn on Low Latency mode?
  7. Dear friends, I am glad to announce the release of my new album. Hope you enjoy it! Written, recorded, programmed by me in Logic Pro X 10.4.8 Mixed and mastered by DARK TWIN: https://www.instagram.com/darktwinproduction/ Artwork by Kate Vach - https://www.shorturl.at/csUW3
  8. Yeah, it makes sense! Thank you!
  9. Oh! Got it, thank you! And going back to “plugin latency” - What cases require “off” mode of plugin latency setting Again thank you for your answers!
  10. Thank you so much! Totally understand it. If you don’t mind I’d like to ask you one more question. About “recording delay” slider. Is there point in experimenting with this setting? Something like to compensate additional latency or it’s nonsense? Leave it O?
  11. Hello guys! What do you think about switching "Audio and Software Ins Tracks" when I am recording and "All" when I mixing and so on. Is it really necessary? Thanks in advance!
