    Hi I'm running Logic 10.5 My problem is the key commands ( ctrl + shft + drag ) to disable snap to grid do not work in either the main view or piano roll. I can zoom in and move fine. I recall it working properly when i first got my set up. Could I have hit something by mistake to change the behavior ? Is there a preference or project setting i can check? Frustrated! Thanks for any help. David W

    Hey Guys, Would like to know if there is a way to import a template I've saved( for drums specifically) ...into a project I'm working on. For example... Working on a new project...guitar/guide vocal etc.. now I want to import drum template and record the drums. Thank you Dave

    Hi Guys, Been reading up on Articulation Sets in Logic X . I understand the process for mapping keyswitched articulations for Logic and Third Party instruments...However, I read somewhere you can create keyswitch articulations for instruments that don't already have them. ( ie...some East West stuff has very little keyswiches to choose from)...follow me?? Hope so. So my question is...Did i read correctly and that is possible to do? and ...how does one do that ? ( create mapping articulations/keyswitches for an instrument that does not have any.) ?? Hope that makes sense. Thanks Dave

    ok here's the scenario.. In the main arrange window i have a midi region in cycle mode so i can tweak the sound. I open up the software instrument ( ..now that becomes the focused window). What i want to b able to do.... After i've opened the software instrument( now the focused window)...I want to press the spacebar to begin the cycle without having to physically click on the arrange window first and then press the spacebar to start the cycle.. Is there some setting or preference so it will switch windows automatically when i press the spacebar? make sense? Just updated to 10.5.1. Have a friend who is able to do this . Same DAW/Version. What am i missing? Thank you Dave
