Here's a new one. There's definitely not 1000 tracks, all my plug-ins are orange, and there's no sound. So much for recording today lol.

Not a huge deal, just want to figure out how to delete it. It says it's unlocked but I still get the error that it's protected.

Two compressors on the same track is not parallel compression as far as I understand. You're just compressing the same signal twice as opposed to mixing two identical signals with different levels of compression.

My bad, two tracks. But the easier way to do that is to use a bus. I just use a bus I don't even use two tracks.

Two, and you blend them. One you squash like almost all the way and the other you compress normally.

Hey guys, I have been using the drum machine in Logic for years now and for the first time tonight I decided to compress it. I used the setting on the compressor called "Drum Mix" and now I feel like an idiot and want to go back through ALL of my old mixes and add it. I guess I just figured for some reason that the drums would already be compressed. Am I compressing them too much? I mean it sounds great! This is an observation as much as it is a question about the drum machine. Is the drum machine already compressed? Am i compressing it twice? What is your favorite way to compress drum mixes?

i restarted the program and it stopped happening. not sure what it was, thanks though!

Hello, I recently accidentally linked my volume knobs somehow, whenever I change the volume of one channel, all the other channels change volume synchronically. Halp!

As in the playhead goes to the beginning of the session? Do you hit 'return/enter' to send on this text site? 1st question, yes. 2nd question, no. it just happens right when i open the site. it's on my frequently visited sites when i open a new tab and i just click on it. no return key involved. track just starts over. just tried it again to make sure and it happened.

I almost didn't post this, because it is so random and insignificant, but screw it, I'm bored. Sometimes when I am listening to a project in Logic and I open Safari and go to an online texting/calling service called TextNow, the Logic Project starts over at the beginning again. It's so random, no idea why it happens. I highly doubt anyone here can explain it. My best guess is that the audio inputs are the same for the website and Logic, and so Logic gets confused for a second. Hope someone out there has fun with this or can figure out how to prevent it. It is not a serious problem in my work flow, just so random I had to share it.
