  1. Hello, I've been having this problem since the update. See vid for ref. I'm using the Kontakt software instrument, Albion ONE, where the dynamics (of the strings) is defaulted to the mod wheel. You can see the dynamics bar respond within the software and it records properly, but it records into the Logic's modulation lane instead of 1 Kontakt 5: Dynamics - Strings, which is the the software's lane it should be recording into? When viewing/editing Logic's auto lane, every time I hit play it switches back to the software lane. You can actually see it moving in real time reflecting Logics modulation lane. Ultimately, they're both the same but its almost impossible to make edits. When tweaking an automated pass in Logics mod lane, as soon as you let go of the node it switches back to the softwares dynamics lane. Because of that, you have to click the auto cycle button to cycle through the lanes every time. Yuck. https://www.dropbox.com/s/gyfo2p4jtbzy149/Auto%20Switching%20Viewed%20Automation.mov?dl=0 Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! Nick
  2. Fantastic! Thanks so much! I was adding it to a template but wasn't overriding the template. I thought the global commands are tied to the import/export key commands menu. Thanks!
  3. Hello, I'd like to use a few "Transform User Presets" but every time I close my session, they are deleted from the MIDI transform dropdown menu. If I save a particular session they stay. Is this session specific? It seems like this should be a global thing? In the key commands window everything assigned (Touch OSC to the different "Transform User Preset 1..2..3..etc") stays assigned since the key commands are global. Any ideas? Thanks! Nick
  4. Just found the actual quick key title for Cubase. "Show Channels/Tracks with Data at the Cursor Position"
  5. Hello, There's a cool function within Cubase that allows the arrange window to only show tracks that have regions on them at the playhead. Is there a way to do this in LPX? Thanks, Nick
  6. Hey all, Is there a way to organize the event list by Trk or Name? Thanks! Nick
  7. Yep, thats totally what it is. I see on my AKAI MPK25 thats is constantly spitting out messaging. Is that a firmware thing? Thanks so much for the help! Nick
  8. Hello, Just started having this problem. I'll be playing an instrument in Logic and it will all the create a program change node and a bank MSB node. It also indicates a 00 in the region where the instrument stops sounding. I've attached a pic to help show what is happening. https://www.dropbox.com/s/mifo6v9xrv80z8g/Screen%20Shot%202016-10-23%20at%209.41.38%20PM.png?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/bnblp4dddib6bb9/Screen%20Shot%202016-10-23%20at%209.46.33%20PM.png?dl=0 Thanks in advance for the help! Nick
  9. Yes, it seems like its stopped. I should say I'm also using an Akai MK25 and that seems to be sending random control messages as well. Those don't seem to be effecting anything though. The whole reason I started to look into this is because I think that one MIDI polyphonic aftertouch is switching articulation settings within another piece of string software. I'm using Albion ONE and although it doesn't seem to be doing it right now, its been doing it. I attached a vid re-enacting what it does when that polyphonic message is sent out in Logic: https://www.dropbox.com/s/rnhbr8gk9jeu6gv/MIDI%20Articulation%20Switching.mov?dl=0
  10. Apologies on being completely naive to all this. I found the manual to my Kawai ES4 Digital Piano. It says CC64 is the Damper Pedal. Does this info help? How would I go about keep Logic from triggering that when scrubbing etc? Logic is actually sending MIDI info even when I'm not doing anything... Logic sitting still: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fnk7umqaane3af3/MIDI%20while%20nothing.mov?dl=0 Kawai ES4 Manual Screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/n0ge4jmwtpq8zb8/Screen%20Shot%202016-09-30%20at%2012.54.27%20PM.png?dl=0
  11. I've had this problem for a while now and have never gotten to the bottom of it. It's starting to effect some of my third party instruments. I've attached a vid to show you what is happening. Ill give you a run down of the software I'm using within LPX. I'm using Ivory II, which you're hearing in the video. Thats the sustain pedal triggering every time I scrub which is triggering a weird value in the MIDI activity area in the transport. Does anyone know what that is or how to fix this problem? https://www.dropbox.com/s/ltepjxencmnduaq/MIDI%20Activity%20Message.mov?dl=0 Thanks in advance for your help
  12. Ha! I've been cursed by this last name. Although its entertaining to watch people try and pronounce it... Thanks for the reply, I just purchased a Pre Sonus Faderport and I'm not sure if thats effecting all this or not but when I use the quickkey control/command/A it brings up the window telling me to assign it to a midi parameter. So now I can't seem to use that quickkey which would totally work for me. Hmm. Nick
  13. Hmm, weird. Worked in a different session. Thanks for the help! Nick
  14. I see the wave form changing but I'm not hearing a gain change. Doing it to an audio region. Is there an overwrite function or something I need to do in order fo the the new set gain to take effect? Thanks
