Hi, I am using Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen Audio interface, out the back of that its going to the monitors and at the from I've got a mic and headphones plugged in. The whole setup is on my desk. Is there a way to mute just the monitors whilst recording vocals ? I obviously need the music in the headphones to know where I am and what I am doing. Thanks Sal

If you watch this tutorial ( ) at the minute 25:20 this guy goes into flex mode editing and at 34:20 he "comes out" of flex mode and all the changes he made stay on the track. The reason why I ask in the first place is because this is the first time this happened to me and I used to use flex quite a lot and never had this issue.

I dont necessarily want to use it I just want the changes I made (while in flex) to remain in the project.

Hey everyone. I have recorded a bit of audio on my guitar, selected the take I like, went and turned on flex mode, chose slicing from dropdown menu, made my changes to the audio, however when I turn flex mode off, the changes I made disappear and the audio goes back to its original place. Any ideas what could be causing it ? Thanks SAL
