    Mic Mode?

After a long absence from using Logic Pro, I recently logged in to work on a project and noticed an orange microphone Icon at the top of the screen that is apparently "Mic Mode". When I click on it, there are three options: Logic Pro, Standard, and Voice Isolation. I could not find any reference in the help. I am using a Scarlet Interface...do I need to do anything with regards to these Mic Mode Settings? Thanks
  2. When trying to record electric guitar through one of the amp model plugins, I was unable to hear any change in the sound whatsoever. I assumed that I should be able to hear the modified signal as I'm playing. Is this not the case?
  3. Well, I would, but first I need to know how to move stuff around between screens
  4. Working on a project where previously, The tracks were shown on one video monitor, and the mixer occupied the 2nd video monitor. Just just opened the project file to record another track, but this time both the tracks and mixer are all shown in one window on screen #1. I cant seem to drag just the mixer separately over to screen #2 How to I set either logic, or my Mac to automatically open the mixer (or editor, etc.) on the second video monitor?

    Tempo Change?

Can I change the tempo on an entire project? I recorded several audio tracks and one midi instrument track at 128 bpm. I'd like to bump it up to around 140 bpm, but how? Thanks
  6. I had software monitoring on. Once I turned that off, I was able to get a “dry” signal. Thank you both from this newbie. I really appreciate your time.
  7. Thank you for the quick reply, and sorry, I should have provide more detail. I'm recording using a large diaphragm condenser (one of the AT models, but can't recall exactly which) running through a new Yamaha MGXU-10 mixer with the USB out as the DAW = > new MacBook Pro. I monitor via the Yamaha mixer using headphones. In Logic The track is routed directly to the stereo output channel, with no effects inserted. I have the buffer I/O set pretty low on the Audio Preferences - 512. The project itself is relatively simple, consisting of 4 audio tracks and one midi. Thanks again
  8. While recording a vocal track I noted a very strong reverb effect on the vocal; however, I had not inserted a plugin on the track or on the output for monitoring. I also noted on playback, the track level was very low, even though it sounded just fine (even loud) while monitoring the recording. Any ideas? Thanks
