Re: Issues with Plugin Alliance GUI on M1 Mac

Yeah, i don't think you can do much but wait for PA to acknowledge and fix it. won't happen any time soon judging by my experience

Re: Move all regions

Try experimenting with "Shuffle" left or right. If it's nothing before/after all regions, they will all line up to either beginning or end of the project

It's a midi assignment for a function tho so it's in controller assignments.
Can you get ANY feedback for something that's not built into logic or supported controllers?

Re: Issues with Plugin Alliance GUI on M1 Mac

Try running Logic in Rosetta instead of native.

But yeah, i've noticed it (i don't use much plugin alliance cause i don't like them as a company), i even got in direct contact with a developer and they said they can't replicate it at their end... so... eh?

Re: Logic controller assignments feedback

OSC directly also doesn't work.

it seems like everytime i try mapping logic manually i hit some functional wall i can't work through.

Re: Make IAC driver "one way" only on a single bus

Just set it up like I suggested and save it as a template. Logic does not route the IAC back into itself, IAC is a bus. Anything you route to a bus is available on that bus, to any app, including Logic. Yeah loopbacks sometimes confuse me lol. I think problem is that logic doesn't exclude IAC bus f...

Logic controller assignments feedback

You can assign keyboard shortcuts to "assignments" and there's a feedback field (i.e. play state that gets reported to dedicated controllers), but if set up a MIDI CC that can also receive state, logic doesn't appear to send state back for key commands. (i.e. automation read, and similar)

Re: Make IAC driver "one way" only on a single bus

But i need to make a template for it. That should be a global setting, logic shouldn’t route what it sends as controller to IAC back into itself. That makes no sense, the moment you reserve a port for controller it should be yeeted from physical input

Thanks for the tip tho - definitely less clicks.

Re: Make IAC driver "one way" only on a single bus

I'm still not entirely sure what you mean by "disconnect it". You can cable it into something, for example a monitor object, in order to make sure it's not routed along with the SUM output of the Physical Input object... but maybe that's what you meant by "disconnect"? Not sure....

Re: Make IAC driver "one way" only on a single bus

How do you delete IAC from Physical input? in environment under "click and ports", per project - but you have to manually remap every other port then. sorry i don't delete it from physical input, i disconnect it. i want to delete it from physical input. it's really to bad because actual p...

Re: Make IAC driver "one way" only on a single bus

It works if i delete IAC from Physical input in the environment. But that's annoying band the port setup changes everytime you add/remove a device, it's simply a nuisance.
is there a way to force logic to ignore IAC driver if i use it with controllers?

Make IAC driver "one way" only on a single bus

I'm trying to setup StreamDeck "Mackie Control" via MIDI plugin. It works pretty cool if i route it via Cycling 74' Max own virtual midi ports, however IAC breaks everything. I have it setup like this when via Max ports: Logic Out (To Max 1) > StreamDeck (From Max 1) Logic In (From Max 2) ...

Re: New M1 machines: Connectivity and General Experience

Never seen this kind of weirdness before, but I didn't try Logic until 2007, long enough afterward for most of the kinks in the new Intel machines to be ironed out. I don't think the RME driver is quite right either. It keeps flipping from 44.1 to 48khz. I'm disappointed that the OS updates seems t...

Re: 10.6.0 and low latency mode out of sync?

If you have plugins with latency on the masterbus/anywhere in the signal path, disabling them will still cause latency. Low Latency mode generally just disables plugins that have more than X amount of latency, if you have only 0 latency plugins while tracking, low-latency mode does nothing, it's not...

Re: Apple Silicon (M1, M2) Compatibility: AU Plug-Ins, Software, Hardware

Yeah agreed, it's really annoying. I saw devs (Tone Empire) even touting "M1 support" when it was simply rosetta2. I mean, come on.
You didn't support anything, 99% of rosetta stuff worked from the get go.

Re: Apple Silicon (M1, M2) Compatibility: AU Plug-Ins, Software, Hardware

it's not the only one, it's hard to keep track. Some acustica plugins were also listed as UB2 when they werent, Tone Empire, and a few others (forgot which)
people simply listed Rosetta2 compatibility as "UB2"
