Extra Key Command help?

Hello, In the Key Command window, Logic X gives you the option to 'Toggle Hide Group' in the Main Window Tracks section. It gives you the ability to assign Key commands for Hide Groups from Groups 1-9. I usually have more than 9 groups so was looking if anybody knew a way where i could add a key com...

Key Command / Midi Control to jump to track?

Hello, I'm looking for 1 or 2 answers that cover the same topic so any help would be much appreciated. 1. Can you assign a Key command to jump to a particular track in your template in the main window? E.g, when i press, 'L' or some other key on the typing keyboard, Logic will highlight track 5 ever...

Re: Logic Pro 9 wont open plugin?

HI Andy, Have you tried loading up LP9 in 32-bit mode first and scanning and then closing and reopening in 64-bit? This has worked for me on a number of occasions. Just incase you've not done it before, right click on the icon in the application folder, click on properties/info and select 32-bit mod...

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me on this one? Backdrop: In the main arrange window of Logic X, when you select a track, that track will be highlighted in all other windows in it's different formats-i.e, when selecting a synth bass track on channel 28 in the arrange window, if you have ...

Thanks Ski, Good to know! I was just wondering does the complexity of the setup come with the number of tracks or the amount of mute groups needed. Also, does the fact that because you are muting auxes mean there should be no problem with held notes if you mute mid sustain because it is audio? :D Tr...

Ok Da Vinci!

Right, Thanks for that Ski! The above looks amazing and works really well - i've tried it and all appears to just work off the bat. Ideally i'm looking to try and make this work as you mentioned Orchestrally with probably East West running Play and Stylus with Auxes as seperate tracks as the output ...

My word Ski - you sure do know your enviroment programming.

Can't wait to see what else you can do with this.

It's great that the combined muting works the same way as the single muting.

Would be great to see you develop this more.

Again, thanks so much for taking the time :)

Thanks for providing the details. This is entirely do-able, but would take a fair amount of time to conceive and execute (and make look good too). I could get you started on how to make a programmable switch matrix in the environment so that you can create "mute groups" that will mute any...

Muting multiple tracks with 1 click

Hello, Here's what i want to do; I'm looking to be able to press a key on the keyboard, midi controller etc... and that key will trigger logic to mute certain selected tracks which i will pre-programme. Ideally, i would be able to programme different keys/triggers to control different selections of ...

I did a bit of reading into Touch Tracks and it seemed to be that they can control regions but i'm not sure about complete midi tracks... Glue all the regions together in that track to make one MIDI region. It would be great if you could explain how using touch tracks, i could achieve the result. N...

Re: Solo Fader

Thanks for getting back to me.

Anyway, yes, it would be great if you knew how to do this with a fader. This is so i can add specific tracks in multiples in 1 go with pre-set changes and do it in a live situation.

Soloing Tracks with a Fader

Hello, Just wanted to say this is a great resource and definately the most comprehensive anywhere :!: Here's the question; I want to create a fader in the environment that has values ranging from 1-20 I want each value on the fader to cause logic to mute individual tracks which i have pre-programmed...
