Great, thanks for letting us know what it was. That's a typical issue and unfortunately there's no easy way to spot it visually. It would be nice if a solution was created that would allow one to be able to somehow see the waveform of the region from the crossfade start to the right-region start and...

mp3 is a distribution format, you need to work with a production format (PCM files like .wav or .aif). There's a known issue with mp3 in Catalina. Convert your mp3 to wav and try using the wav file in Logic.

What if I want to move "Breath" to MIDI control #1 & #11 simultaneously? In the Transformer, click the Mode pop-up menu and choose Copy matching events and apply operation. Also, can I make the imported "Breath" data also map to Velocity values? You would have to use somethi...

It's MIDI data, you can use the MIDI transform window if you want to convert it to another MIDI CC number. These settings for example would convert Breath to Expression:

AFAIK there were no changes to Flex in 10.5.1 and Flex Pitch has always made audio follow tempo.
