Re: copy paste effects from one audio track to many ?

Ok that did the job ! Thanks ! One funny thing in noticed was that when i manually trimmed one of the audio regions (simply by readjusting the left edge of it) to cut out the 5 sec silence, it actually automatically did the same for all audio regions on the track. Is that normal ? It's handy for su...

Re: copy paste effects from one audio track to many ?

Oops, I didn't understand that you wanted to print the effects destructively to the audio files in a batch process. In that case the workflow is different. Try to place all audio regions on the same audio track that has all your audio effects, then choose File > Export > Regions as Audio Files?

Can you start a new topic for this new question? And add a few details regarding what you're trying to do?

Re: MIDI notes recorded « in double » Topic is solved

The notes have different positions so they're not exact duplicates.

Re: Drummer track Name in 10.6.2

I see the same behavior. It could be a bug, or it could be a new design decision from the Logic team, who knows.

Re: Midi Sustain Bug

Thanks man! But why does it work like that? One spot where the value is 1 affects the whole song? And so it must be 127 or 0 or it gets buggy? I don't see a bug, but it certainly is sloppy MIDI programming/recording. AFAIK the MIDI standard defines value 0 = OFF, and value 127 = ON. Anything else i...

Re: Sound play not in sync with project

Choose Logic Pro > Preferences > Audio and make sure that in the "General" tab under Plug-in Latency, Compensation is set to "All"?

Re: Midi Sustain Bug

Got it and found the culprit: open the Event List and you'll see a Sustain event (with a value of 1) at 6 1 1 55. Delete that event.

It doesn't allow to attach a logic project.

Make sure you follow all the instructions in the link I shared. You need to attach a .zip file here.

Re: Recreating Apple Loop sounds-possible?

Ok, yeah, i tried to mess around with the sampler a little bit, I’ll try some more again. Was a typo on my part, it’s “atmo” not atmos. Ok I found it. With that one you could sample the chords and sync their pumping effect to tempo then transpose them to any key you want. Since there are at least o...

Re: batch trim multiple audio tracks ?

You can use the Marquee tool to select the silent part on multiple track, then press the Delete key on your keyboard to remove it.

Re: Recreating Apple Loop sounds-possible?

I can't find "Recollection Atmos Pad" here. In my book I share an exercise on how to take an audio loop (a synth bass lead) and using Quick Sampler to be able to turn it back into a software instrument. I can't guarantee this would work for any loop, it depends on how you can isolate at le...

Re: copy paste effects from one audio track to many ?

actually found out what the problem was : had to activate 'advanced settings' in prefs ! So that did the job. Now trying to export them, which will apparently take a while ! I could create a new thread for this, but is there a way to batch trim the beginning of all of these files ? There's like a 5...

Valli for the win! Thanks! That's great, I didn't know or forgot about that key command. I see it's simply called Delete Duplicated MIDI Events.

Re: copy paste effects from one audio track to many ?

Make sure you select a few tracks first. Here I'm about to create a track stack out of tracks 2, 3 and 4:
