Re: Importing Jamulus sessions (LOF and RPP)

Well, the "wav of the present" perfectly supports time stampimg which in turn can be read by any application so I am at a loss why they don't just use that.

Re: Importing Jamulus sessions (LOF and RPP)

The proper way to transfer audio between applications is to export one continuous file per track, starting at 1.1.1.1. or TC 1.00.00.00. Or AAF if you're lucky and it works.

Everything else is for folks that have a masochistic trait.

Also, someone creating files that require to be positioned at 26.2323245467 seconds is just plain mean in my book. Like, dude, WTF?

Re: Unexpected Project Changes after 10.5 upgrade

First off, thanks for the persistence and the heads up. I have never heard of that before. If only I had a cent for every time I've heard this line from dealer or support, usually on things that are commonly known. I've learned to take it at face value. This specific person has never heard from it, ...

Re: Cannot import entire mp3 file

I remember a file size limit of 4gb on AIFF and WAV files, maybe this still applies. Try setting the recording format to CAF, maybe that does the trick.

Re: New iMac arrived - Joy didn't last long

For this very reason I don't keep checking prices one I got anything. It's a psychological thing, purely inside your head. The computer is the same one you were hyped about two days ago. Not a thing has changed. There was to be a newer, better, cheaper machine, you knew that. You just didn't know wh...

Best way to clean up hidden files without any negative impact on the system Hidden files are usually hidden for a reason. This reason being mostly that these files are important and not to be tampered with by the uninitiated, else system performance may suffer or the system may cease to work altoge...

You can't fade a Take Folder if that's what you're trying to do. Flatten the Take Folder, then fade.
