Re: Reverse panning the overheads for Logic drum kits

Sparing that plugin, I'd first switch the channel (or Summing Stack) from Stereo Balance to Stereo Pan with ctrl-click, then flip sides with command-click, like this:

Re: I/O Plugin - No Dry/Wet Option

Lack of finances can almost always be outweighed by adding smarts, you just need enough of it. Your routing is wrong. There's two ways to route stuff to "a box", and they differ fundamentally in precisely whether you want 100%wet or not. If you want to send a portion of your guitar to a re...

Re: I/O Plugin - No Dry/Wet Option

I know. As I've tried to say, if there is no dry/wet slider, then it returns 100% wet. I'd rather see a pic of Logic's mixer so we can sort out your problem.

Re: I/O Plugin - No Dry/Wet Option

While I'm not sure which top-class mixer and top-class converters you use to achieve better results than what a plugin EQ can do, any version of the IO-plugin will give you *at least* the option of 100% wet, else it would be absolutely pointless. If you're still hearing dry signal you have a routing...

Re: How to quantize in LPX

You are aware that the Smart/Classic selection is Region-specific, as are all other parameters in the Region Inspector, right ?

Re: How to quantize in LPX

Well, first you say you're not using Smart Quantize, now you are. re' Smart Quantize, I quote the manual: Classic Quantize quantizes MIDI notes to the nearest beat, using the current Quantize setting and any advanced Quantize parameters. Smart Quantize works similarly to Flex Time for audio regions....

Re: Set Environment settings as default

Set it up like you want it, then Save As Template...
Then start new projects with that template.

You can click it, then press the space bar, which will do exactly that.

Re: pan control in 10.5

Check System Preferences>Trackpad. Catalina might have (re)set something there.

Re: pan control in 10.5

Not on Catalina here, but it works on a trackpad with either click-hold-drag up/down or two-finger-wipe up/down. What's your exact procedure ?

Re: pan control in 10.5

Does this happen in all projects or only one ? Did you try a restart ? have you tried turning it off and on again ? Is it plugged in ?

Active ventilation is absolutely necessary, unless you want to take a 5min break with doors wide open every three takes.

Re: Faders don’t work Topic is solved

I bet there's heavy distortion and/or a hi gain amp on these tracks. By this, you amplify the signal by crazy amounts and thus your little weensy fades don'T make a difference anymore. Do what des99 suggested and automate the faders (channel volume sliders), as these are after the processing and wil...
