Re: Solo Mid or Side

I would recommend using Voxengos excellent MSED plug-in for this but you can actually use the Multipressor (overkill) if you really need a stock plug-in :

Re: Additional "preroll" when using DKD (or so...)

The latency is in samples and totally dependent on the anchor in the EXS sampler (max 10000 samples) Depending on your tempo this could generate a displacement of 1/4 note or more. It's pretty easy to circumvent. You can either turn off Plug-in Latency compensation (not really recommended since it w...

Re: Additional "preroll" when using DKD (or so...)

This is working as intended.
Some of the samples played by the EXS24 or DKD have a displaced anchor to allow for a proper build up before the transient hits.

The anchor is still available.
You can use the File Editor or the Project Audio Browser to set it to a specific point.

Try dragging the line instead of a node (or anywhere if using a dedicated editor).

Re: cycle bar and jump cycle modes Topic is solved

Try a Command - click on the cycle range in the ruler.
Or you can customize a key command for "Swap Left and Right Locators".

Re: Output routing Problems Mainstage

The first issue could be related to RME's TotalMix.
You can attach a screen shot of your MainStage mixer and your TotalMix window in matrix view and I can see if I can assist you further.

Re: Any news about Eric Cardenas??

Hi there everyone! Everything is fine here on my end of the internet. There's no need to worry. I'm really touched by your concern and I'm sorry I haven't been available lately. I needed some time-out from the forums to be able to concentrate on other things for a while. Thanks for your concern. I r...

Yes, that's a great workaround, thanks.

What’s happening is that it snaps the location of your pointer (as seen by the thin vertical line) to the bar thus offsetting the first node of the selection.

Did you set snap offset to 0 Ticks?

Re: how do I group fx plugins on separate tracks?

I'm following a tutorial by a "pro" who plugs in eq, channel strips and 1176 on separate left and right guitars panned hard L/R and then sets up a mixing group in Protools so as to make adjustments on only one track's plugins and they are duplicated in the other track-(I'm not sure why he...

Re: Am I running Logic from my system drive??

So I am doing things wrong? You are not doing anything wrong. This is pretty much by the book. How can I run Logic from an external druve like we are all advised to!? Like I said in my previous post: It's basically semantics. You really don't want to run Logic Pro X from anywhere else than your sys...

Re: Am I running Logic from my system drive??

It’s mainly semantics but you are still running the application Logic Pro X from your system drive. You are however storing your project on your external drive.

Re: Logic Pro X Panning Issue

You probably have a mono plug-in on your Stereo output.
If you click and hold on your output channel strip plug-ins, you can see if they are in fact stereo or if you happen to have a mono>stereo one.

Re: Can I install Sierra on to a new MacPro for Logic?

It's pretty easy. You need to create a USB-stick installer, format the system drive back to HFS+ using Disk Utility from the USB-stick, and finally install Sierra from the USB-stick. How to create a bootable installer for macOS - Apple Support Thanks Eric. All that is far too complicated for me tbh...
