Good tip... Thanks!

Re: Shift has no affect on moving fader in smaller increments

Sorry to bump but is the manual incorrect? I swear it used to work this way.

Re: Shift has no affect on moving fader in smaller increments

Thank you however I'm confused.

From the manual:

Press and hold Shift while dragging the Volume fader to change the volume level in finer increments.

Re: Shift has no affect on moving fader in smaller increments

Still can't get this to work. Anyone know if this is broken in LPX10.4.8?

Shift has no affect on moving fader in smaller increments

Just noticing in 10.4.8 that holding the shift does not result in moving the fader in smaller increments.
Can anyone confirm either way?

Create new audio file question.

Is it only necessary to use the create new audio file as a back up when doing destructive audio editing in the lower zone window to a file?

Rebuild vocal comping after flattening? Topic is solved

Is there a way to easily rebuild a vocal comp after flattening it. Possibly from the pool on the right hand side?

Need help - pitch ramp? Topic is solved

I need to find a way to create a pitch decline ( with 3rd party plugin ? ) in Logic like Cubase.

Re: LPX needs audio aliases

You are correct! Here on 10.4.8 is the same behavior of leaving the beam on the cloned region in original position. Need to double click on the original pitch corrected beam to activate the clone. Looks like it will update, pitch, gain, pitch drift, vibrato and format shift but not any timing change...

Re: LPX needs audio aliases

I haven't been able to link audio regions so that if I change my flex pitch edits in one region they update in the other. Actually it works here, if I record an audio region and create a clone, use Flex Pitch to edit the pitch of the original, the clone now is pitched the same way I pitched the ori...

Re: LPX needs audio aliases

Thanks David That's helpful. My needs would be more for using Flex Pitch. I haven't been able to link audio regions so that if I change my flex pitch edits in one region they update in the other. Logic Pro has audio region clones (Option-Shift-drag), where you can resize a region and all cones will ...

LPX needs audio aliases

So that when you alter the original audio region the alias is modifiedas well.

Yes you can loop an audio region but that won't work with the choruses.

Same as midi.

I think so. I've been using it in Logi for some time without adding a wrapper.

Capture midi out from instrument using Midi FX Freeze

I have used midi FX freeze to capture the output from a midi plugin before which works great however I'm wondering if I can capture the midi out from an instrument using the environment?

Example: using an instrument that is using a built-in arpeggiator like Halion Sonic.
