Re: Multi-output issue with 3rd party plugins

I found a workaround. With Logic Pro X 10.4.2 (I still have it in my folder app but I think it will work also with another version prior the 10.4.8) open the plugin manager, select plugin and reset & rescan task. After did this all the plugins show the correct multi out in Logic 10.5. This work...

Re: Multi-output issue with 3rd party plugins

I feel your pain! I found that once 10.5 is installed, going back to 10.4.8 did not work. The same plug in had the same issue. I had to restore my whole system to my backup before I had 10.5. I’m currently on my back up of Mojave and Logic 10.4.8 and all Is well. I tried a hard drive wipe, clean Ca...

Re: Smart tempo: have to enable in editor every time? Topic is solved

I tried again on a blank project, then fired up my template and somehow it works as expected now. Not sure what happened, but problem solved? haha.

Re: Smart tempo: have to enable in editor every time? Topic is solved

It does enable flex time automatically, but the content still doesn't seem to be processed until I open the editor and click "edit" for each new region. Maybe something in my template is preventing it?

Smart tempo: have to enable in editor every time? Topic is solved

I've got my template set up with smart tempo on Adapt, project settings for new recordings set to "On - align beats and bars", however whenever I record a new region I have to open the editor and click "edit" to get it to analyze smart tempo before it will conform to the project....

Re: The best/most reliable fader controller interface for LP

The Faderport actually can be made to work with Logic Pro X, you just need to find the 64-bit midi device plugin and manually move it into the Logic app folder via "show package contents". You'll have to do this after every update as well. Its been a while since I looked this up but its ou...

Frontier AlphaTrack and El Capitan - Workaround

Credit to this forum post here: http://www.motunation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=60691 The idea is that SIP must be disabled for the system to recognize the USB driver again. If you reboot into recovery mode by restarting while holding cmd+R, open the Terminal from the Utilities menu and typ...

Just tested and it appears the bug still persists.

Re: there's blood all over the snare

You could try a De-Esser maybe, or cut what you need to cut out with EQ and then trigger a sample to add just the crack back in for the snare.

Re: Logic Pro X and Macbook 2015 GPU temperature

I've got the mid 2014 15" with the discrete GPU and I haven't noticed this problem. I don't use an external monitor though, so maybe thats the difference.

Re: Sound Module USA To UK Mains Converter

Definitely contact the manufacturer. The voltage can usually be easily taken care of by the wall-wart or internal power supply, however the frequency cannot be easily changed and only they can tell you if the difference will cause it do to weird things or be damaged.

Re: Examples of workflows

One thing I like to do is have a 'basic' template that has a few auxes already set up with reverb and delay, and sub mixes that I usually use in any project. That way if I'm building something and I want a bit of reverb its easy to send to "room verb" or "big verb" instead of get...

Re: What Are Some MUST HAVE Reverb and Delay Plugins for Log

Another +1 for Valhalla. I've got Room and use it as my go to reverb, and just picked up Ubermod the other day after demoing it for a really long time. I always ended up throwing it on guitar for a tape delay when I play at home and nothing comes close to how good it sounds. It is an awesome chorus ...

Re: Logic Pro X is slow after installing SSD

Well, that's a good advice, let's just install the worst, least reliable, most buggy, ugliest, most catastrophic OS Apple has ever released  I've been using Logic Pro X on Mavericks since Mavericks came out, I really doubt it has to do with that. I'm really scared it is a hardware problem, and...

Re: Logic Pro X is slow after installing SSD

This is really strange and must be very frustrating. I think you've come this far, it is worth trying a system update to Yosemite and all the latest versions to rule it out. You can always roll back if it doesn't fix the problem. Other than that, the only thing I can think of is a hardware problem. ...

Re: Apple MacBook "Core 2 Duo" 2.26 13" (Uni/Late 09)

I had this machine and ran Logic X on it. It was fine for mixing audio, up to about 50 tracks, depending on plugin usage. Software synths and guitar sim plugins were frustrating sometimes though. Diva could cause errors with one instance depending on the patch.

Re: muffling bass note in guitar arp

Multiband compression maybe. If the chord progression is such that the bass notes are the same mostly then you could tune it in to only the notes played on the low strings.

Re: INSANITY! NEED HELP BIG TIME!

Do you have a piece of hardware attached that requires drivers? Try booting up Logic without any keyboards or controllers plugged in.
