Re: Logic Pro X Quick Tips for beginners

Thanks for pointing that out! The new Sequencer example script is quite worth checking out. It requires you to modify the script in order to add the actual sequence data, but it has a lot of interesting playback options. At some point I will probably modify what they provided to be able to read midi...

Re: Aux and Master Bus High Latency Plugins and Midi

You can temporarily change the plugin delay compensation preference to “audio and Instrument tracks” long e Pugh to record the Midi track

Re: How to control a parameter of plugin on one channel strip by plugin on a different channel strip

Ps - fader data are generally the automatable parameters, not midi. So if a control in your plugin is automatable, then it can send and receive fader messages in the enviornment which you can transform to anything you want and send to another mixer channel, so I think yes it’s possible if you are us...

Re: SCRIPT: Articulation Channelizer

8-) I've read and understood the instructions (i will un-channelize my sets, very easy), but the source channel/ports thing is a bit unclear. Do i need to increment the range with EACH track? Or is each track brand new (= source ch 1)? The latter would be easier. In my case, i'd never have to worry...

Re: How to control a parameter of plugin on one channel strip by plugin on a different channel strip

you probably get fader events coming from the mixer channel itself not from any plugin that might be hosted within it. Midi events generated from plugins inside a channel strip are not sent out to the environment.

Re: SCRIPT: Articulation Channelizer

so one thing about that setting, there is a weird bug in LogicPro, when you have it set to Playback tracks, then you load up a track and if you start to try to play notes on the visual keyboard of a plugin, for example, you will hear super big latency or perhaps nothing. Until you hit a few notes on...

Re: SCRIPT: Articulation Channelizer

Let's figure out why that is happening though..if I can fix it in script code I will. Just to be sure, please tell me if you are using in audio preferences the multithreading playback tracks mode or Playback and live mode... Otherwise, I will try to see if I can replicate what you guys are experienc...

Re: SCRIPT: Articulation Channelizer

I haven't experienced the problem you're speaking about where you have to turn scripter on and off again. I'd like to get to the bottom of that though, please PM me and let's figure it out. I doubt its the script itself causing that, it might be preferences related though, i have a hunch. PM me thou...

Here is one list of supported cards and more info: http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/archives/feb ... acPro.html

Apple has an official document they posted a while back but I can't find it right now.

Re: Upgrading 2010 Mac Pro 5,1 for Logic

Sapphire RX580 Pulse is the graphics card you want. There are reports of some other variants working, but Apple officially documented support for that one, which I have and works great. Check the MacRumors forum for lots of reports of other variants that will also work, there is an RX590 now also, w...

Re: Help with monitoring latency

you have a couple options. This should be a stickie... first, Plugin Delay Compensation works in two ways in LogicPro, audio and instrument tracks with latency reported will be queued earlier from the track to the mixer channel so that the events existing on regions will make sound when you expect t...

Re: Drum Machine Designer - timing issues

I don't know anything about Live Loops or how things are trigged, so if those are WAY out of sync by a beat or more...that is something else then what I'm talking about with Step Sequencer and may simply be pilot error in how Live Loops work. I can't really say because I don't know or use that featu...
