Yes, It took me a while, but the Bypass all control surfaces worked for me, is this a known bug with Logic?

Midi mapping key notes

I was trying to map my transport controls on my keyboard. I had the learn dialogue window open, when I inadvertently hit the A4 key on the keyboard.

Now every time I hit the A4 key, it controls the volume fader.... I can't figure out how to get that note back.
