Re: Electronic Drum Hi Hat Issue Topic is solved

Kontakt instruments open with midi CH1 as default, maybe your module is transmitting on CH10 or something (MIDI standard for drums).
There's a channel switch in the scripter, or change incoming channel on kontakt, or change incoming channel on the channel strip (i think that works)

@simon: i mean to your defence, they're really similar.
On a side note, 1178 by Pulsar is -glorious-

also instead of worcestershire sauce i just say mayonaise (its the white one right)

Re: Electronic Drum Hi Hat Issue Topic is solved

sounds like the TD25 is not sending positional data from MIDI outs, do you have anything you can adjust in settings?

Re: Logic's version of SSL mixbus compressor? Topic is solved

a (very few) people i know that have a 1178 mostly say it's different from 1176 the same way other 1176s are different from other 1176. Why wouldn't it make sense? Arturia's 1176 has 3 different 1176 revision. why would they use knobs from 1176 if they wanted to do a 1178? I invite you to look more...

Re: Logic's version of SSL mixbus compressor? Topic is solved

it's not close to either anyway :D nice comp, but it's emulations aren't "spot on" by far. The knobs look like 1176 tho, not 1178 It’s subtle, but the difference Is there. It helps to look at the units side by side. Plus it doesn’t make sense for Apple to do two versions of the same compr...

Re: Logic ABSOLUTELY messed up bus assignments after opening a project?!

Hi.. wondering if any new info was available on this - I have the same problem / experience as Ploki: large 5.1 template with almost all busses used, recently switched to a new interface and bus assignments all messed up. I have also had it before when taking projects on my Mac to a studio with a d...

Re: Electronic Drum Hi Hat Issue Topic is solved

modifier midi plugin should do it Could you explain this in a little more detail? I have the same problem using a roland td25. I opened midi modifier and made it as your screen shot showed with input event at 4 foot and re-assign to at 4 foot. Scale at -100% and add at 0 but my hi hat is still inve...

Re: New Logic Multitrack Benchmark Test

These results seem unrealistic on the Air - especially for long term (cycle repeat), it would throttle sooner or later

It is a Rosetta performance comparison.

Native, Rosetta and Intel :)

Re: M1 Loading plugins 3rd short delay

yeah. If you run a native version of logic, plugins don't crash logic anymore - instead a popup appears tells you to "save and close" Rosetta2 version can still crash. (although it also loads separate process for plugins. AuHostingService for ARM plugs, AUCompatibilityHostingService for ro...

Re: New Logic Multitrack Benchmark Test

Alright, so I did a test where Plugins would not introduce Sample latency to keep the test purely CPU, here is my result with all the settings: benchmark_new.jpg I've removed L2 because it doesn't fully run on the CPU and it introduces sample latency and no reverb because it's very dynamic and crea...

Re: New Logic Multitrack Benchmark Test

opened everything you said in the same order, with default presets, disabled oversampling and lookahead, no sends, nothing on the master bus. 85 tracks on my default settings (128 buffersize, medium process buffer range) 105 on max settings 1024 buffer, large process buffer range gotta note i'm doin...

Re: New Logic Multitrack Benchmark Test

maxed out tho. :D

it's running on a 4K (4096x2304) external screen @hidpi, not sure if it affects it, but i doubt i'd get more tracks running on the 13" screen.

Re: New Logic Multitrack Benchmark Test

changing process buffer range to "medium" from large somehow increased native track count to 37 lol. also i don't get different results changing buffersize. in general, i observed M1 behaving ridiculously well at small buffers - even in fully loaded projects. Sometimes i almost complete my...
