You want BLACK (channel color)? Without hack? Here you go...

I accidentally created that channel color, when importing channels from an old v8 session.

Save it somewhere, then import the channel into any session, et voilà black channel color. Then you can also color the regions black.

Wonder if you can see the waveform on a white region.

I'll try... but I think I don't have a white channel somewhere in an old session. There is always the possibility to "hack" one of those plist-files (or so). This way some user create whole new graphics.

Yes, but I never wanted to use that "hack". The graphics are ok for me. I just missed black.

 

Is there another member here, that maybe has an v8 or v9 session, where he knows he had used White?

You'd probably have to start out with a template that has the precolored black channel strips, or duplicate and then copy over the plugins from the other colored channel strips to the black channel strip. There's no short way of doing this...

I have a black region in my template. With the command color channel from region you can color the channels easily.
