If you think about it, the number of people who use delay to make it sound like robot may be surprisingly small. All the others use it probably because they like the sound. simon.a.billington Posted June 14, 2022 Share Posted June 14, 2022 Different delay times on each side can often give the sound a more sense of width and possible provide some complimentary rhythms, overall making it more interesting and engaging. Though you can have too much of a good thing and it can clutter the mix up and make everything a messy smear. It's better to be selective.
