Antaren
I'm using the mute tool in the Piano Roll by typing M on my computer keyboard. I then mute whatever I want to mute. However, the left click tool remains as the mute tool. Is there a way to have the mute tool automatically revert to the pointer? If so, is this possible to do with other tools also? Thanks. Solution fuzzfilth Posted May 17, 2022 Solution Share Posted May 17, 2022 In many areas you have three click tools immediately available, and you can set these as you wish by setting up the Click Tool Menus. The left tool gets activated with the left mouse button, the middle tool gets temporarily activated when you hold down the command key and click the left mouse button and the right tool gets activated with the right mouse button, like this:
Antaren
Thanks Christian. I tried this out, and it worked. I set the mute tool as the middle tool button, then once I have clicked the bar in the piano roll, it goes back to being a pointer tool. The key is, the 2nd tool is temporary, which is what I wanted.
