TwistedKnot
I first saw this problem when I was trying to record a track, I hit record, but it only recorded my mic instead of all the other stuff I wanted it to. It was really frustrating, and a day later, I search up how to fix this, which it didn't help much, because input was already turned off. But then I realized that it was actually my stereo output that was recording my mic live. Is there a way to turn that off?
enossified
You'll have to describe your setup a little us. How was the mike connected, what was the "other stuff" you wanted to record?

David Nahmani
I wonder if what you mean is that you were recording the output of Logic Pro?
