Cellini
Hello Friends of MainStage 3, I want to switch to other patches, while the music / playback-track is playing. Now, when I do so, the playback-track stops. Is it possible to keep the playback-track playing, when switching to patches? Or do I have to load all the sounds in that same patch? Thnx in advance. Cellini
Hi, I have just solved this problem:) Just instantiate a audio-channel at the concert-level instead of the patch-level.
Corch83
Or copy the playback strips and paste as alias into the next patch. That's how I do it and it works great. You can switch between the patches and the playback will keep on playing. Good luck!
marcperi
You can create a set , and put the playback at set level. Set is like a folder with desired patches inside it. putting playback at set level, will not stop while changing patches. I'm using it in this way
sEb23
Or copy the playback strips and paste as alias into the next patch. That's how I do it and it works great. You can switch between the patches and the playback will keep on playing. Good luck! Can explain us how you do that please? Because I can't see any option to create a copy as an 'alias' Thanks a lot! waltercruz
Use a set! Is the right way to go. Add the playback at the set level.
Augustov
I agree with Waltercruz. Put the audio at the set level not at the concert level or using aliases.
