skylark
I have a 104 input aggregate device, but I seem to be unable to 'see' anything above 96 inputs. Have I come up against a limit? I can't find any literature about that anywhere. Thanks... Edited August 6, 2021 by skylark
skylark
Okay... All of my inputs just appeared. I'd love to be able to tell everyone what I did to solve the problem but... I don't know.
triplets
Curious: Are you using 104 simultaneous inputs when recording?
skylark
nah... when RECORDING i'm much more likely to be using just one stereo pair... (unless i'm tracking a drum machine, which might take up to 18 inputs in one pass)
fuzzfilth
So what are the other 86 inputs doing ?
skylark
??? They're sitting at the ready, for whatever I want/need them for. What... You think I'm gonna run patch cables from an instrument to an interface every time I wanna track something? Think of it as a cordless patchbay with total recall. That's all...
