Yes it is unclear, but I just checked with Ableton 11.1 Beta which is Native and the vst version shows up in the plugin list. Otherwise it wouldn't.

Great, thank you. And I received confirmation from Cableguys:

I've just ordered a new 16" M1max... trying to sort out if everything will work properly...

Isn't UAD good to go now? I see on the main page 1 it's listed as still not compatible??

An update for IK Multimedia...

"Most IK products are compatible with M1 macOS systems using Rosetta 2" - see official statement and full list of support products here - https://www.ikmultimedia.com/faq/index.php?id=1412. The only software product of theirs I can't see listed here is SampleTron.

On top of that, IK have stated on their forum that MODO DRUM is M1 native - https://cgi.ikmultimedia.com/ikforum/vi ... 31#p122928.

Some vendors don't update thier installer programs which require Rosetta 2 to be installed, for those I can extract and copy those pieces to the required folders and everything works great.

i've been running logic on monterey for a year now (am on the public beta program). certainly, some ups & downs, but overall... it's been pretty great. right now, on the final release, the OS is fast stable, and logic is running beautifully.... along with all my 3rd-party plugins (of which there are many). one point tho, am on an intel mac, not an M1. but lots of ppl here on the M1 macs, and they seem pretty happy too.

Hi there!

It's Pulsar Audio
We have some updates for you. Could be awesome if you add this please :)

Apple Silicon M1 support - We now support Apple Silicon (M1) computers natively. The specific optimization for these processors allows you to take full advantage of the speed of the new M1-based MacBooks and Mac Minis, without relying on the Rosetta compatibility layer.

Thank you!
Sean

A few updates:
Eventide and Newfangled Audio now provide native support (see the last few posts here, although Newfangled will only be released sometime this week apparently): https://www.eventideaudio.com/forums/to ... port-info/

And iZotope provides Rosetta 2 support for almost all plugins now:
https://support.izotope.com/hc/en-us/ar ... le-silicon

It's a bit concerning that iZotope doesn't even give that vague-ass "2022" timeline for native support for any of the Exponential Audio plugins

I hadn’t considered that the reason many developers still don’t support Apple Silicon natively is because iLok doesn’t yet support it (at least not in its final form). Looks like that’ll change soon which will probably result in a rapid increase in Apple Silicon support - https://www.pro-tools-expert.com/produc ... -very-soon

“ We also know that our customers depend on us to keep their software absolutely secure from piracy, tampering, and IP theft, and that if we don't support Apple Silicon, they can't either. To that end, we have been working aggressively to deliver this support.

We delivered initial support to our licensing ("Eden") customers in August of 2020 and some of those customers have since published new versions that run natively on Apple Silicon, which has been very well-received by their users.

We have also reorganized our development schedule to bring Apple Silicon support into our high-security tamper-protection product, Fusion. This work is extremely complex given the significant changes at the OS level. We’re happy to now announce that we expect to have a beta version of Fusion in publishers' hands in November, and a final version before the end of the year. For our customers [software developers] who depend on us for strong protection on Apple Silicon, the wait is nearly over, and we expect that their end users will see new versions soon thereafter.”

Hi Peter, indeed Waves v13 (except Waves Central v13) are Apple Silicon. I had added them to my Apple Silicon compatible list a couple of weeks ago already! :D
