joshuapettinger
Hey Folks, I'm working on Logic 10.7.2. I'm currently building an .exs super kit and am having an issue where one MIDI note say on C0 will cut off a sample's tail of another preceding MIDI note (for instance on C1). I have one shot engaged for all of my samples however it seems to be happening across my entire kit. Any insight would be immensely appreciated! des99
Do you have those zone set to the same exclusive note group?
joshuapettinger
I do not, I did however figure out that I can adjust the max number of voices in synth details. Turning this all the way up definitely helps there there are a few sections where I’m over 100 voices as multiple samples are “ringing out” simultaneously. Wish there were a way to extend this value even higher.
des99
If you really have a part where 100 voice polyphony is not enough, the you can always split the part over two or more instances and spread the load between them... joshuapettinger
Yeah that’s the game plan, just a huge PITA with routing. Haha as is life!
fuzzfilth
You click New Track With Duplicate Settings. It is literally a one-click affair, so...
joshuapettinger
Haha I wish it were this simple. I am using chord trigger to trigger 8-9 samples at once. To fit the entire multi sampled kit into the limited range of the chord trigger is impossible given the size of the kit. Long story short, I need to re map additional layers of the kit.
