LMynx
Hi all. I have been wanting to implement this for a while but have only started really thinking about it. The scenario: I want to route the outputs of individual tracks from one Logic project into another. It has to be the individual tracks, not the master. Is this possible? I have Soundflower and have used it for a stereo track into quicktime, but have never used it on 16 outputs and am not sure I could reroute each channel individually into a separate logic project? I know I could set up busses and "resample" into the same project, but I am trying to do some live edits with the cycle engaged and splitting up the resulting take folders is not ideal nor do they capture the loops seamlessly. If anybody has any tips on whether or not this is possible, a giant hassle, or if I'm just crazy, I'd love to hear. Thanks guys! Ps. Is there a way to unpack a folder onto the same track in the numerical order of the takes?

Although I don't know much about it (or even use it), It seems that it is possible according to this picture from their website: http://1cyjknyddcx62agyb002-web-assets.s3.amazonaws.com/products/sf1.jpg I know I could set up busses and "resample" into the same project, but I am trying to do some live edits with the cycle engaged and splitting up the resulting take folders is not ideal nor do they capture the loops seamlessly. Is there a way to unpack a folder onto the same track in the numerical order of the takes? What do you mean by in the numerical order of the takes? Anyway, you could flatten all your folder takes (tracks) then bus them to the same audio aux.
David Nahmani
I want to route the outputs of individual tracks from one Logic project into another. It has to be the individual tracks, not the master. Is this possible? AFAIK it's not possible to record in one Logic project while working in another. You'll need another software to record, for example QuickTime Pro?
Matt Mayfield
Can you say a bit more about the context? That is, what is it that you're looking to do that this sort of routing would make possible, that's not doable by bouncing the tracks in place and importing them into the other project?
