hbraun
Hi all, I encounter a strange problem in Logic X (10.0.3) whenever I try to change the velocity of a note. I've tried to find a solution but can't figure it out. I'm new to Logic so maybe the solution is simple... I can have the velocity of a note in Piano Roll on 0 or 127, the notes will play at the same volume. Now, I've checked that the preset in the synths I use are velocity sensitive. I have tried different synths and samplers with different presets. I've started different sessions, restarted Logic, rebooted the computer (recently converted from Windows and that usually helps there as you know...) but no success. Since I don't think I've had the problem before I think it might be some kind of configuration issue. Can anybody help me out? Thanks in advance! Locate the logic file in the Finder, control-click it and choose "Compress..." to create a .zip file. David Nahmani
Select the region, and in the Region inspector (top of the Inspector on the left), click the disclosure triangle next to "More". Velocity is set to "Fixed". Set it to 100% instead. Now click the background to see the MIDI Thru parameters in the region inspector and set the Velocity to 100% also. PaulBrimstone
I'm having the same problem — but the velocity field is no longer visible in the inspector. How do I change it, David? Has this changed in Logic in the past five years? Edit: Oh, MIDI Transform sets, right?
