Maris
Hi, question - If I buy a new mac, do I have to buy a new logic? Or I can somehow move the old one? thanx
Solution Jordi Torres Posted January 7, 2014 Solution Share Posted January 7, 2014 You don't have to buy Logic again. Simply install it in the new computer using your discs or by downloading from the App Store (depends on what version of Logic you have). Click this link to your signature and add your system information: • Logic version and sub-version (e.g. Logic 10.0.5) • OS X version and sub-version (e.g. OS 10.9.1) • Computer (e.g. MacBook, Mac Pro, iMac) • Processor (e.g. 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo) • Memory (e.g. 2GB) • Audio interface manufacturer and model (e.g. Presonus AudioBox USB) • MIDI Controller manufacturer and model (e.g. M-Audio Axiom Pro 49) (most of that information can be found by choosing Logic Pro X > About Logic Pro X, and > About This Mac) J. Maris
Thanks, it means when I will log in Appstore from my new mac it will allow to download logic again? I am planing to buy logic X so I am wondering if it is smarter to wait until I get a new mac.

If your current mac meets Logic X's minimum system specs, you can go ahead and buy it and install it. You'll be able to install it in your new machine as well without having to pay again. J. Doombeat
Hi, I am considering buying a Mac. However, it is very expensive and I'm on a tight budget. Will I have to buy LogicProX as well? Thanks

If you already own Logic Pro X then open the App Store and go to the Purchased tab, you can download it again.
