01w
Everything works well except waves plugins gui is just black when I open them. I found out they use some kind of OpenGL technology. They process audio but just have no gui
Atlas007
Does the GUI shows up when you click in the black area?

fisherking
yikes, am adding to this thread. today, i opened sugar bytes 'cyclop' plugin, which i've been using since it came out (a year or so...). today, it ONLY comes up as a list of parameters...no GUI. switching between editor and controls (editor gives me parameters on a WHITE background. anyone have any idea why this is happening? mcrowleyuk
Hey Guys, I've got exactly the same problem ( Logic X 10.0.5 ) OSX ( 10.8.5 ). Various Waves Plugins with no GUI ( they work, just not with the Waves Graphics, just a form with text boxes instead ). I've cleared the AU Cache, re-started Logic, recreated the AU List - same problem. Rebooted - same problem. This happened after copying my external disk which I'd been running on as a Logic X trial, back over to be internal disk ( using Carbon Copy Cloner ). Everything else works apart from no Waves GUI. Please can anyone else help. Thanks, Martin.
Atlas007
Just a thought... Try the following: Update Logic X to 10.06 (current version). Then: 1-Uninstall the faulty plugins completely from you computer.2-Reset Logic pref files.3-Re-install the latest version of the deleted plugins. Jmando
Make sure you have version 9 of your Waves plugins
joethibs
Having the same problem. Waves tech support couldn't figure it out. Said they would have to do more research and get back to me
