Cirez-D
Hello. Let's say I find a nice Kick drum from my collection. When I preview it, it sounds ok. Then I drag & drop it into Ultrabeat. But it sounds a little bit different. Then I disable Osc1, I disable Noise and I disable LFO as well. But again it sounds different than originally was. So my question is: How do I disable everything on Ultrabeat in order to hear my samples as they originally are? I only wanna use it as a step sequencer. Nothing else. Thanks! mrduder
use either of these: Ultrabeat Sample Player (now w/velocity) you can save these in your User>Library>Application Support>Logic>Plug-in Settings>Ultrabeat folder. now when you open ultrabeat you should have these presets available. Cirez-D
So what exactly these presets do?
mrduder
they initialize ultrabeat. these were uploaded by David (the dude that runs this site) a long time ago. they're his presets for initializing ultrabeat. they pretty much allow you to drag and drop samples into ultrabeat without there being any change to the sample because of filters or anything else in ultrabeat. it's essentially just like throwing them into the exs24. Cirez-D
Awesome then. I'm gonna give it a try and if I have any problems i'll ask you again. Thanks a lot!
