Logic Pro 9 wont open plugin?

Hello. I recently purchased "Era II Medieval Legends: Limited Edition" from Best Service. I have some older libraries like Forest Kingdom II and Logic Pro opened this VST with no issues using Best Service Engine 2.2.0.105

When I installed the Era II software and tried to use it on the Best Service Engine 2.2.0.105, I got this message: 564207481_ScreenShot2015-05-08at9_11_08AM.png.f22aba96367a7b99f20f6b8a94c923ca.png

I downloaded the most recent version of Best Service Engine. I had issues with the latest Best Service Engine 2.3.0.25 being recognized in Logic Pro 9 previously, so was always using version 2.2. Unfortunately I can only get Era II to load in Engine if im using version 2.3. (im not sure if theres a fix to get it to run in 2.2?) When I open Logic and try to use Engine 2.3 I get this: 1949499039_ScreenShot2015-05-08at8_50_16AM.png.5b61f30c2444dd9d775ab3a0eab6e27e.png

I tried rescaning and got this message:

I'm stumped and not really sure what to do. I'm not the most tech savvy when it comes to computers so im not sure if its on my end or Engine's 2.3 has issues with Logic.

My specs:2063758382_ScreenShot2015-05-08at8_51_25AM.png.6fabe1eab43ae5f4b8a7dfb27b8cc562.png

Could it be my computers specs arent good enough?

Would an upgrade to Logic Pro X fix the problem with Engine 2.3?

Looking forward to anyone that could help.

HI Andy,

Have you tried loading up LP9 in 32-bit mode first and scanning and then closing and reopening in 64-bit? This has worked for me on a number of occasions. Just incase you've not done it before, right click on the icon in the application folder, click on properties/info and select 32-bit mode.

Hope that helps.

Hi Paul. Thank you for responding. Yes i've tried both 32 and 64-bit modes and it wont open Engine v2.3. It isnt even in the plugin manager list in 32bit mode. I can only get Logic to recognize Engine v2.2 and it opens fine but v2.2 wont run Era II for some reason for me. Engine v2.3 is the only way I can get it to open Era II but then Logic wont open Engine v2.3.

I did see some posts about people having problems with the Engine v2.3 player in logic before so im not really sure what to do.

This is on their website under system requirements for Era II: 1625741618_ScreenShot2015-05-09at9_41_20AM.png.a38c7bd0677e18e88f7c9d06100ba2d8.png

I hope its not Logic thats the issue because I dont really want to switch DAW's. I wonder if Engine v2.3 has been giving people problems on other DAW's.
