Byland
Hi Why did’t Logic have midi in port to softwareinstrument so you can link one instrument, how have midi out funktion, to another softwareinstrument ? Ample guitars have strum pattern and midi out and it would be nice to trigger a piano sound with that pattern. ”Logic is the only one DAW which can not supports MIDI out feature. because there is not a MIDI input selection for each instrument track. You can easily do it in Studio One, Pro Tools, Nuendo, Cubase”.
ski
You can do this. In the Environment, find the source channel and the destination channel. Drag a "cable" from the little triangle at the top right corner of the source and touch it to the destination channel. Voila! Now... this is just a basic connection. There are some things you have to do to prevent the volume, mute, solo, and pan buttons on the source channel from affecting the destination channel too. Accomplishing that is pretty simple, but first see if you can get what I first described to work.
