Pauly 6 String
Saw a nice fiddle sound and hand claps once but can't find them now. Anyone know where in Logic they might be? Thanks
Eric Cardenas
Insert the EXS24 and open the Library. Make sure that the library is showing the EXS Instruments and not the Patch/Channel Strip library. Search for Irish Fiddle and for Claps. MikeRobinson
FYI: The General MIDI specification for percussion includes a variety of sounds, including (I think ...) handclaps. Some percussion libraries, SoundFonts, etc. will include (some of) these "extras." Others won't. When Logic is displaying a percussion patch in Piano Roll, it has the option of showing you the instrument-names rather than the notes. Pauly 6 String
Thanks Mike and Eric. I found the Irish fiddle but I could have sworn there was one that was call "Fiddle" and it sounded a bit different. I will try and edit the Irish one to my liking. I have opened a bunch of drum kits looking for the hand claps and just can't find any that have them. I came from using Studio One and each kit had claps in the layout somewhere.
