bartrum666
HI, I've recently done a new install on a new hard drive and have now got a Logic Pro X problem I've not seen before, and can't find the solution online... Previously I have saved plugin user presets and logic has automatically opened the correct folder for me to do this, and they have shown up in the plugin settings menu and been easy to select quickly. I have also previously set up most of my plugins to open as I want with the use of Save as default option... I'm currently trying to get this to work with UAD plugins... My problem is that save as default is no longer highlighted at any time, and when I save as it asks me where I would like to save my preset... I have tried various folders, yet the presets do not show up as before in the plugin settings menu... I have tried saving them to... Library/application support/Logic/Plug-in settings Library/application support/Universal Audio/Presets User/Music/Audio Music Apps/Plug-in settings User/Library/application support/Logic/presets User/Library/Audio/Presets Library/Audio/Presets (this one says I don't have permission) None of these are working for me... Can anyone shine a light on this for me please? If I could get the save as default to work I could probably trace the saved preset?!? bartrum666
OK, so today it's working properly again? User/Library/Audio/Presets All the individual folders for each plugin have appeared and Logic heads straight for them...
Eric Cardenas
It was probably Spotlight that needed to scan your files first. Thanks for reporting back.
Laced
How did you solve this? Third party presets are not saving to the correct location except a few plugins. I’ll start a spotlight and see if it fixes it
