bradd
I'm having a frustrating problem. No matter which Logic soft synth I'm using (and I've tried multiple controllers as well) I cannot get pitch bend to work. I have made sure that the bend range is set on the soft synth. When I try to bend a note on my controller using Retro Synth I even seen the Bend Range moving in Retro Synth, so I know that my controller is communicating with Logic. I also trashed the preference file this morning and still no luck. Help would be much appreciated.
Solution Eric Cardenas Posted November 5, 2016 Solution Share Posted November 5, 2016 Try this. Choose Logic Pro X > Control Surfaces > Bypass All Control Surfaces and see if it changes anything.
Mikeitup
Yes, It took me a while, but the Bypass all control surfaces worked for me, is this a known bug with Logic?
bradd
Thanks! That worked!
Eric Cardenas
Yes, It took me a while, but the Bypass all control surfaces worked for me, is this a known bug with Logic? No. It's not a bug. You have probably used MIDI learn and by mistake assigned pitchbend with x parameter. Thanks! That worked! You're welcome! Choose Logic Pro X > Control Surfaces > Controller Assignments and delete the pitchbend entry to avoid this issue altogether.
