Nellis
Hi guys! A producer friend of mine send me this clip of a very handy macro in ableton: Is this also possible to make it this easy with smart controls in logic x? Anybody got some experience with this to reduce time when making a build up for instance? Tnx!!!
Jordi Torres
Indeed, you can set something up that will work almost the same way with Smart Controls in Logic. If you're also trying to recreate the sound he's getting, that'll make things a bit more difficult since we don't have a grain delay in Logic. But then there's always third party stuff. J. anp27
For a cool FREE alternative to Ableton's Grain Delay and since Logic doesn't have a built in Grain Delay, go get Soundhack's ++ bubbler
Nellis
Nice! You guys have no problems with saving and loading patches?
simon.a.billington
There is also iZotope DDLY. It was offered free for a short time, but now costs cash.

Yeah, I was also going to mention that one but didn't because it's no longer free. However, I'm sure there's plenty of effective variations of this "wash out" effect that can be achieved without a grain delay plugin. J. karlingen
5 years later. Has anyone managed to recreate this in Logic?
Nellis
I only found Endless smile by Dada life that I use now and then... Nobody on the market has come out with a load of effects for one smart control know. Would be awesome to have 8-20 effects for one know. Endless smile only has 6...
