rsilverst
Hi -- I saw a tutorial video where "Repeat Multiple" was able to create multiples that fall "on the bar" even if the original region extended past a bar's boundary. It would actually overlap the "copy" a little bit on the end of the previous region, so that there were no gaps. But when I try to replicate this functionality myself, it will not "overlap" them and leaves a nearly full bar gap between repeats. Is this a setting in Logic for how repeats are overlapped? I have attached 3 screenshots. 1) Original region. 2) What I get if I do repeat multiple with "Bar" as my setting (gap), and 3) What I saw generated in the tutorial video (overlap). (I should note that I am using 10.2.4 and the tutorial I am watching was based on earlier version, so perhaps the functionality depicted in the tutorial was considered to be a "bug" that has been "fixed"?) Thanks!
David Nahmani
Your original region does not start on the downbeat of a bar. When you repeat it, Logic places it at the same supposition within another bar, which is the expected behavior.
