triton100
Hi, there doesn't seem to be any option of deleting Apple loops from within the Apple loops library list section on the right of the arrange window ? As I scroll through and audition sounds I would like to delete ones I don't like, to keep things tidy and save space. T
Atlas007
I think that the Apple Loops are located in: Mac-HD\Library\Audio\Apple Loops\Apple\ You would need to delete them via the Finder and then re-index the loop browser library.

Thanks. I was afraid of that. That's a bit of a pain doing it that way. But ok
keano12
I created a Apple Loop and can't find it anywhere. What extension do apple loops have?

David Nahmani
I created a Apple Loop and can't find it anywhere. What extension do apple loops have? They can be .caf or .aif You can also index .wav files in the Loop browser, but they won't be looping (they won't automatically match the tempo of the project). keano12
the user loops are here: user/library/audio/apple loops/user loops I don't have a user loop folder? You are looking in the root library. To access your user library, in the Finder, hold down the Option key while you choose Go > Library from the main menu at the top of your screen. Is there a way to save these to an external drive by any chance? Also guessing there is no way to batch process drum loops? Likely not. Thank you
David Nahmani
You can save the loop wherever you want. When you drag it to the Loop browser to index it, it should give you a choice of leaving it where it is on the hard drive. For batch processing, look into aurchitect's loop editor: http://aurchitect.com

dhatcher
After deleting nearly all the loops from the Mac HD/Library/Audio... folder, the next time I launched Logic it automatically re-installed them all. I won't use them, so how do I get rid of them?
Atlas007
Wild guess: in the library content manager, make sure that no items are check marked.
