kerochan
Can someone tell me roughly when Logic 10.3.2 will be released? I know many people, myself included, are waiting for the new look graphics instead of the latest kids toy look!
Arnaud
Noone here knows, unless someone here is part of Apple Logic Dev team (in which case he/she would not advertize that ).
fisherking
where did you hear that the look is gonna change? and some of us like it the way it currently is...

David Nahmani
The GUI was JUST completely overhauled in Logic Pro X 10.3.0 which was released less than 2 months ago. I wouldn't expect any "new look" anytime soon.

David Nahmani
Oh so it was a prank? That makes more sense. I think I need another coffee.

David Nahmani
I don't think it was. Make it a triple espresso then. That's what Bill Burgess would drink.
fisherking
or perhaps an endless espresso? then you can work all the time (in a cold dark room, under a dim light, with the 'kids toy look' of the terrifying LX 10.3)...
Jangus
You forgot the Mhu . .. Ha ... Ha ... , right? And, it's nothing St. Paddy's Day can't fix. Good Irish to you all . everyone !!!

Eric Cardenas
Make it a triple espresso then. That's what Bill Burgess would drink. Hey there. That's my trademark! I'm going to have to talk to Bill about that one.

David Nahmani
This was made by our member ibt. That's a bit old school. I made an updated version for Logic X:
kerochan
Sorry everyone, I really thought with the amount of complaints about the latest graphics in 10. 3.0 that there maybe be an updated version coming. I am using Logic 10.3.1 because the functions are better than 10.2.4, but I much prefer the graphics in 10.2.
David Nahmani
Sorry everyone, I really thought with the amount of complaints about the latest graphics in 10. 3.0 that there maybe be an updated version coming. 10.3.1 did fix some of the 10.3.0 issues everyone (including me) was complaining about, but those were related to non-retina screens. But as far as I know everyone's happier with the 10.3 flat graphics than with pre-10.3's skeuomorphism. I suppose they may continue to refine the graphics but don't expect a completely overhauled GUI in future interfaces, because 10.3.0 WAS the completely overhauled GUI - for design reasons but also for screen redraw speed. kerochan
David Hi I guess it will just take a bit of getting used to the flat graphics. I am surprised to know how many people prefer them! but there you go! I did try Studio One for a day and its a pleasure coming back to Logic, even with the new graphics! ibt
Note the instantaneous caffeine effect, a result, in part, of the absence of a Delay Object between trigger and subject... ... sugar, sir?
Thomas192
It sort of falls in the category of typical Apple arrogance. They know best, we don't know anything. But it would make people hate Apple less if they were not so arrogant. Allow us to skin LPX, for instance. Make a new 'look' an option rather than a draconian requirement. Make a new 'look' an option rather than a draconian requirement. just saying something doesn't make it true. most apps are not skinnable, and software developers have been making decisions (about the GUI, functionality, changes, etc) since... forever. nothing arrogant about it, it's just business. stardustmedia
I installed 10.3.2 already, some early alpha version and the looks got pretty much changed. Much more pro-nerdy-mad-coder and less toyish look. Just straight forward. http://www.madtracker.org/img/ss_pattern1.gif
Darude
LOVE IT! Been sending the developer team feature requests for years and years for more Fast Tracker 2 (my first foray into music making) look & feel and now it's becoming a reality!!! YES! Tim Gordine
And 10.2.4 runs on Mavericks. i.e. decent fonts for non retina monitors..sigh..
Kim Olesen
I, personally, very very happy that we got some degree of cosumisation in the Tracks window. My life with logic just got so much easier. No more hacking of the gui needed, like i had to do with all the previous versions of LX.
