Auto Input Monitoring While Selecting A Track causing unwanted nasty feedbacks?

Hello, Im having a problem with Logic X.

I record and monitor on the same room, don't have an isolated room for recording say vocals. So I mute my monitors, and monitor with headphones.

Whenever I stop recording, I unmute my monitors and listen to what I've recorded and is all fine, but randomly at times, after I recorded something and I'm messing around editing, or equalizing other tracks, whenever I click on a track in the arrange window, the input monitoring turns on, and off course a nasty feedback comes along. I can't find the way to change this, and its getting quite annoying. Literally only by clicking on the grey areas of the track, the "I" turns on. And it doesn't happen every time, just randomly happens.

Can anybody help?
