yadamir
Hey there, I'm using 10.3.2 with my project stored on a NAS, and it seems like the selection based processing isn't working correctly. Sometimes it will process the audio correctly, sometimes it won't... Sometimes it will kind of halfway process it. I switched to using a NAS for storage and upgraded to 10.3.2 at around the same time. Anyone had a similar experience one way or the other? Is it the NAS or is it a 10.3.2 bug? maceasy
I'm not sure anyone can answer your question unless you do a trial project not on NAS, and then do the same on NAS and see if the results are the same.
yadamir
Yeaaaaah... that's probably the way to go. I'll try that and report back.
yadamir
Yep, I loaded a project locally and Selection Based Processing worked just fine.
Eric Cardenas
You can use a sparse image on the NAS to hold your project. This will let you work flawlessly in Logic.

Can you elaborate on how you would do such a thing?
Eric Cardenas
Follow the first example here: Disk Utility for macOS Sierra: Create a disk image using Disk Utility Use either sparse bundle or sparse image and no encryption.

Eric, thanks for your help on this! One question for you... We have 10-20 projects we are working in a week. Is it better to do this on a per project basis, or can you create one image to put all of your sessions in?
