Where to store samples for Drum Machine Designer?

Hi good people!

I want to create my own drum kits within Drum Machine Designer but not sure where to put audio files. Do i have to create a new folder somewhere on my SSD or should i put those to a specific place. I like to keep everything organized and if there is a place where Logic keeps such files i would prefer to store it there instead of creating a new folder.

Please suggest me the best solution.

I would store them at the same place that you store your other custom samples, ideally in your personal documents, so the risk to have them overwritten by updates or else is less prone to occur. This would add the benefit to include them in the backup process. Also including those used into your project file is advisable...
